Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 August 2026
This page describes how DogeGoo actually operates. If anything here conflicts with what our support team tells you, please tell us — we will fix the page.
Read this first: this page is not complete
We would rather publish an honest, partial page than a complete-looking one we made up. Several clauses that a full terms document normally contains have not been finalised at DogeGoo yet, so they are not stated anywhere on this page. They are listed openly in section 13. Please do not read their absence as agreement to anything.
1. Who you are dealing with
DogeGoo is a proxy buying and parcel-forwarding service. You can reach us at [email protected] for anything about an order or an account, or [email protected] for business matters. The legal entity that contracts with you is not printed here yet — see section 13 for why, and ask us if you need it before ordering.
If you are checking whether we are a real business before ordering — a fair thing to do — our Trustpilot page is operated independently of us, and our Discord community is public and anyone can join and read it.
DogeGoo is an independent proxy shopping service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for Taobao, Weidian or 1688.
2. What DogeGoo is — and what it is not
We are a buying agent. We are not the seller of anything you order. The goods are listed, described, priced and supplied by third-party sellers on Taobao, Weidian and 1688. When you submit an order, you are asking us to buy that item from that seller on your behalf, receive it at our warehouse in China, and forward it to you.
The service works in this order:
- You find the item — paste a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link, or search by keyword or image.
- You pay for the item and its China-domestic shipping, and we purchase it from the seller.
- The seller ships it to our China warehouse, where it is checked in and photographed.
- You combine items into one parcel, choose an international shipping line, and pay for it.
- The parcel ships to you, clears customs in your country, and is delivered locally.
Because the seller — not DogeGoo — decides what the product actually is, we cannot guarantee any third-party listing's accuracy, licensing or authenticity. What we can do is show you the physical item before it leaves China (see section 6).
3. The disclaimer you agree to at checkout
Before an order is confirmed, our checkout shows a short disclaimer that you have to accept. It is part of your agreement with us, so we are restating it here word for word rather than paraphrasing it:
- Packaging refers to the original packaging of the product. If checked, the logistics packaging other than the product itself will be removed. To avoid damage to the product, the necessary protective packaging materials will be retained. If you request to remove the packaging, we are not responsible for it.
- Comprehensive domestic freight For the goods of the same seller, the shipping deviation will be adjusted by us.
- For each product, we will take 3-7 photos for you for free. If you have additional requirements for fine photo services, a small service fee may be charged.
- Return and exchange are not supported for customized products.
That disclaimer has a fifth point, covering return and exchange fees. For a change-of-mind return those are ¥5 per SKU plus a ¥10 handling fee, plus the seller's China-domestic return shipping. Wrong, damaged or counterfeit items are covered by the seller. The full schedule, the window, and what is and is not returnable are on the Refund & Returns page.
4. Payment happens in two stages
This surprises people, so it is worth stating plainly: you pay twice. First for the items themselves plus their shipping inside China, at the time you order. Then, later, for international shipping — only once your items have arrived at our warehouse and you have decided what to put in a parcel and which shipping line to use.
You see the real price of each available shipping line before you commit, and nothing is charged for international shipping until you pick a line and pay for it.
5. Weight, and why a price can change
International shipping is charged by chargeable weight — the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric (dimensional) weight — multiplied by the rate for your chosen line and destination. There is no flat rate. Combining several items into one parcel lowers the average cost per item.
Until a parcel is physically packed, any figure you are shown is an estimate based on the recorded weights of the individual items. If the packed parcel turns out to weigh more than estimated, the difference is billed before we dispatch it. Nothing ships until that is settled, so you always get to see the final number.
6. QC photos: what they are, and what they are not
Every item is photographed at our warehouse before it ships internationally — 3 to 7 photos per product, free of charge — so you can check condition, colour and size, and spot obvious problems while the item is still in China. If something is wrong at that point, you can request a return or exchange before it leaves (see section 10).
QC is a visual check, not an authentication service. Our staff photograph what arrived; they are not appraisers and they do not verify licensing, certificates or serial numbers. Bootlegs and recasts exist on every marketplace, and we cannot certify every third-party listing. If authenticity is critical to you, prefer officially licensed sellers, and send the product link to support before you order so we can look at it with you.
Our own catalogue and search pages deliberately exclude replica and counterfeit listings. We do not help customers source them.
7. Storage at our warehouse
Items that arrive at our warehouse are stored for the storage period shown on each item on your Warehouse page. Storage can be extended with the paid Renew storage option, which adds 30 days per renewal.
Items do not ship by themselves. Nothing leaves the warehouse until you select it and submit a parcel. If an item is close to or past the end of its storage period, either renew it or submit it in a parcel promptly.
8. What can and cannot be shipped
Shipping restrictions are decided per shipping line, per destination country, and per item — by carriers and by customs authorities, not by us. Rather than publish a list that would be out of date the week after we wrote it, we let the system tell you at the moment it matters:
When you submit a parcel, every shipping line is shown, and any line that cannot legally carry what you have selected is greyed out with the reason displayed. If at least one line is selectable, your items can go. If none is, they cannot be shipped to your country on that combination, and we will help you work out what to remove.
As a general guide: items with a built-in battery can usually travel on battery-capable lines, while loose batteries and power banks are much stricter and may have no available line at all for some countries. The check at parcel submission is the authoritative answer for your specific items and destination — not this paragraph.
9. Customs, duties and import taxes
Customs processing time and any import charges are decided entirely by your destination country. We cannot predict them, influence them, or tell you in advance what you will be charged. Where charges apply they are normally payable by the recipient, and any letter or fee request will come from the customs authority or the local courier, not from DogeGoo.
Most parcels clear without anyone being contacted. If customs asks you for documents or payment, email [email protected] and we will help you work out what they need.
10. Cancellations, returns and refunds
The short version: once an item has been received at our warehouse and appears on your Warehouse page, you have 5 days to request a return or exchange. Customised or made-to-order products cannot be returned. Whether a return is possible at all also depends on the original seller agreeing to accept it.
Before that stage, what you can do depends on how far the order has got: an unpaid order can be cancelled by you directly, and after payment there is a further window — before we actually buy the item — during which an item may show its own refund request button. Once we have bought it from the seller, that route closes and the warehouse-stage process above applies instead.
The full process, the exact fees, and what happens to your money are on the Refund & Returns page. Please use that page rather than any figure you may have seen on an older version of this site.
11. Things we do not do
These are limits on the service, not oversights. We would rather you know now than find out during a problem:
- We do not contact sellers on your behalf. We cannot ask a seller about stock, sizing, restocks, materials or release dates for you. What is selectable on the product page is what is buyable.
- We cannot tell you why an order was cancelled. Our system does not record a cancellation reason, so neither our support team nor our chat assistant can look one up. The usual causes are seller-side — sold out, listing removed, or the option you chose withdrawn — and unpaid orders expire on their own.
- We have no service that removes or separates a battery from a product. If an item cannot ship because of its battery, the options are a battery-capable line or a return — never extraction.
- We do not handle pre-orders or pre-sale items, including any listing where the seller takes a deposit now and asks for a balance payment later. If you have already paid us for one, email [email protected] with your order number and we will refund it.
12. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details to yourself, and for the orders placed from your account. To change the email address on an account, or to close an account, email [email protected] — neither can currently be done from the account pages.
A full acceptable-use policy — what an account may and may not be used for, and the grounds on which we would suspend one — has not been finalised. It is listed in section 13 rather than invented here.
13. Clauses we have not finalised
Everything above describes something we actually do. The following are standard parts of a terms document that we have not yet settled. We are not going to state a position we have not taken, so nothing on this site should be read as our position on any of them:
- Governing law and dispute resolution — which country's law applies and where disputes would be heard. Not determined.
- Limitation of liability — any cap on what we are responsible for. Not determined. Note that section 3 point 1 contains the one specific exclusion we do state today, about packaging removal you request.
- How we notify you of changes to these terms — whether by email, on-site notice, or the date at the top of this page alone. Not determined.
- Acceptable use of accounts and grounds for suspension — see section 12. Not determined.
- The legal entity that contracts with you — our operating company, its registration number and registered address. Not stated here yet. We hold a candidate on file, but our Trustpilot profile lists a different jurisdiction, and we will not print a contracting party on a terms page until that is reconciled. Ask us and we will tell you where it stands.
When these are settled they will appear here, and the "last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Until then, if a question depends on one of them, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer about where we stand.
14. Contact
Orders, accounts and after-sales: [email protected]. Business and partnerships: [email protected].
If you spot something on this page that does not match your experience, or that contradicts what our support team told you, please email us and say so. We will check it and correct the page — that is a faster fix for everyone than arguing about which version was right.
