Anti-Counterfeiting Policy

Products for sale through dogegoo.com must be authentic. The sale of non-authentic products is strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by this policy may result in loss of purchase privileges, funds being withheld, and disposal of inventory in our possession.

It is the buyer's responsibility to check and purchase only authentic products. Prohibited products include bootlegs, fakes, or pirated copies of products or content; products that have been illegally replicated, reproduced, or manufactured; and products that infringe another party's intellectual property rights. If you attempt to purchase inauthentic products where they are available on a Chinese Mainland marketplace, we may immediately decline your order and reserve the right to suspend your account (and any related accounts) with us. In addition, we do not deliver your order until we are confident that your order is authentic and not in breach of the applicable laws of your residence jurisdiction. We may withhold payments if we determine that an account has been used to purchase inauthentic goods, commit fraud, or engage in other illegal activity.

We work with rights holders, content owners, vendors and couriers to improve the ways we detect and prevent inauthentic products from reaching our customers. As a result, we remove suspect listings based on our own review of products. We also work with rights holders and law enforcement worldwide to take and support legal action against sellers and suppliers that knowingly violate this policy and harm our customers. In addition to criminal fines and imprisonment, sellers and suppliers of inauthentic products may face civil penalties including the loss of any amounts received from the sale of inauthentic products, the damage or harm sustained by the rights holders, statutory and other damages, and attorney's fees.

1. What you agree to

dogegoo.com strives to ensure a trustworthy shopping experience for our customers. By buying on dogegoo.com, you agree that:

• The purchase of counterfeit products is strictly prohibited.
• You may not buy any products that are not legal for sale, such as products that have been illegally replicated, reproduced, or manufactured.
• You must request records about the authenticity of the products from the seller if you are in doubt.

Failure to abide by this policy may result in loss of use of our services, funds being withheld, destruction of inventory in our fulfillment centers, and other legal consequences.

2. More information

Buy only authentic and legal products. It is your responsibility to check and purchase only authentic products that are legal for sale in your country. Examples of prohibited products include:

• Bootlegs, fakes, or pirated copies of products or content;
• Products that have been illegally replicated, reproduced, or manufactured;
• Products that infringe another party's intellectual property rights.

Request and maintain inventory records. If you are in doubt, you may request that the seller provides documentation (such as invoices) showing the authenticity of their products or their authorization to list them for sale. They may remove pricing information from these documents, but providing documents that have been edited in any other way or that are misleading is a violation of this policy, and we reserve the right not to accept the order.

Consequences of buying inauthentic products. If you buy inauthentic products, we may immediately suspend or terminate your purchase account (and any related accounts), dispose of any inauthentic products in our fulfillment centers at your expense, and/or withhold payments to you.

3. How DogeGoo takes action to protect customers and rights owners

We work with manufacturers, rights holders, content owners, vendors and sellers to improve the ways we detect and prevent inauthentic products from reaching our customers. As a result of our detection and enforcement activities, we may remove suspect listings, refuse an order that does not meet our requirements, or decline to proceed where we are unable to validate authenticity.

Concretely, on this site today:

• Counterfeit language is blocked. Search terms and community slang used to trade fakes — "replica", "1:1", "high copy", 高仿, 精仿 and similar — are rejected at search.
• High-risk brand-protected goods are blocked wholesale. Listings for luxury fashion, watch and sportswear brands with a high counterfeiting risk are removed from keyword and image search, cannot be added to the cart from a pasted link, and are refused server-side at ordering — because as a proxy we cannot validate the authenticity of third-party marketplace listings for such brands, we do not sell them at all.
• Every item is photographed before it ships. Your actual item is photographed at our China warehouse and you review the QC photos before anything leaves China.
• Confirmed counterfeits are refundable. A counterfeit item is treated like a wrong or damaged item — the seller covers it. Process and windows: Refund & Returns Policy.

4. Reporting inauthentic products

We encourage customers who have product authenticity concerns to notify us. We will promptly investigate and take all appropriate actions to protect customers and rights holders. Brands, licensors and their representatives may also write to [email protected] with the URL on our site, the listing it points to, and the basis of the claim.
