Prohibited Items Statement

The categories we will not buy or ship, the ones that only some shipping lines accept, and how to check a specific item before you commit.

1. What we never buy or ship

The following categories are refused outright — our systems block them from search and ordering, and our buying team will not purchase them regardless of how an order is placed:

  • Counterfeit and infringing goods — replicas, fakes, unlicensed copies, and any product which does not possess intellectual rights. See our Anti-Counterfeiting Policy for how this is enforced.
  • Weapons and controlled blades — firearms and parts, ammunition, stun guns, pepper spray, switchblades, butterfly knives, knuckle dusters, crossbows and similar. (Costume props in wood or PVC are not blades and are handled normally.)
  • Flammable, explosive and pressurised goods — fireworks, fuels, aerosols and compressed-gas products.
  • Tobacco and nicotine products — cigarettes, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vapes and nicotine liquids.
  • Drugs and controlled substances — including cannabis-derived products, and prescription medicine.
  • Perishable goods — fresh food and anything requiring cold-chain transport.
  • Currency and counterfeit money, and other goods restricted by law in China or the destination country.

2. Restricted categories — possible on some lines only

Some goods are legal to own but restricted in international transport. The main one for our customers is items containing batteries (electronics, toys with sound or lights, some figures): they can only travel on shipping lines certified to carry them, which vary by destination and change over time. Powders, liquids, magnets and food-adjacent sealed goods behave similarly.

We do not publish a line-by-line list here, on purpose: the authoritative answer is the one our system gives when you submit a parcel — lines that cannot carry your items are greyed out with the reason shown. If no line to your country accepts an item, our team will contact you about options (for example returning it to the seller).

3. How to check before you order

Use the Shipping Estimate tool — pick your country and tick the item types your parcel will contain; it shows which lines exist for that combination. Not sure how to classify something? Send the product link to us in chat or at [email protected] and we will check it against the real listing before you spend anything.

4. If a prohibited item is ordered anyway

If an item turns out to be prohibited after purchase — at warehouse check-in or when you submit a parcel — we will contact you rather than ship it. Options depend on the stage and are handled case by case with our support team; where a parcel must be repacked to remove such an item, the applicable repacking costs are shown on our Refund & Returns Policy and in your account.
