FAQ
Does DogeGoo have reviews?
Customers review us on Trustpilot at trustpilot.com/review/dogegoo.com, and shopping-agent communities discuss us alongside other agents. We do not host reviews on our own site and we do not quote from the external ones, because a company selecting which of its own reviews to show you is not giving you information.
Why is there no star rating on this page?
Because we have nothing real to put in it. We do not run an in-house review system, so a rating here would be either invented by us or copied from a site we do not control. Google's review-snippet policy also requires ratings to come directly from users and forbids aggregating them from other websites. An empty space is the honest option.
Are the shop ratings on your collection pages real?
Yes, and they are not about us. Those figures come from the marketplace listing data for that Taobao, Weidian or 1688 seller. We pass them through without adjusting them, and where a genuine value is missing we leave the field blank instead of filling it in. We removed one metric entirely once we established that its label did not match what the underlying field actually measured.
How do I leave a review?
Trustpilot is the place: trustpilot.com/review/dogegoo.com. We do not filter, gate or pre-screen it, and we do not ask customers to review us only when an order went well.
My experience was bad. What now?
Tell us before or as well as telling the internet, because a review cannot refund you. Email [email protected] with your order number and what went wrong, or use "Contact us" on the order or parcel itself. Our standard is a reply from a person within 12 hours. If the item was wrong, damaged or counterfeit, that is the seller's responsibility and it is refunded in full.
There is no star rating on this page and there are no customer testimonials anywhere on this site. That is deliberate. A score a company gives itself tells you nothing, and a score we copied from somewhere else would be worse — we could not verify who wrote it. So this page does the two useful things we can honestly do: point you at places where people write about us without our involvement, and tell you what actually distinguishes a useful proxy-shopping review from a useless one.
Where the independent reviews are
Trustpilot: trustpilot.com/review/dogegoo.com. We link it and quote nothing from it, including the good ones. Read the one-star reviews first — for a buying agent they are the informative ones, because they tell you what happens when an order goes wrong rather than when it goes right. Community forums and subreddits where overseas buyers compare shopping agents. We deliberately do not link a specific thread: we cannot verify who wrote it, and a link from us would look like a recommendation of a post we have no standing to vouch for. Search the service name alongside the agent you are comparing us against and read the arguments people have with each other. Nothing on this site is a review. Our collection pages carry shop ratings that come from the marketplace's own listing data — those describe a Taobao or 1688 seller, not us, and we do not create or adjust them. Where we do not have a real number, the field is left blank rather than filled in.
What tells you something in a proxy-shopping review
Most reviews of any buying agent describe the ordering step, which is the step where nothing has gone wrong yet. The ones worth your time cover what came later: What happened when something went wrong. Did the seller send the wrong item, and who paid for that? A review that only says "arrived fine" cannot answer the question you are actually asking. Whether the shipping quote matched the final charge. Chargeable weight is decided by the packed box, so the honest test is whether the estimate and the real invoice were close. Whether QC photos actually arrived before shipping, and whether raising a problem at that stage worked. How long support took to reply, and whether the reply was a person or a loop. Ratings without any of that are mostly noise — and that applies to good ratings too.
Why there is no rating in this page's structured data
A technical note, because it is a fair thing to be suspicious about. Many sites in this industry put a star rating into their page markup so a rating appears next to them in Google. We do not, for two reasons. First, we have no in-house review system, so any number we published would be either invented or lifted from somewhere else. Second, Google's own review-snippet policy is explicit that ratings must come directly from users and must not be aggregated from other websites — sites that do it anyway are risking a manual penalty, and more to the point, it would be a lie told in a machine-readable format. If we ever collect real reviews from our own customers, they will appear here with their source stated. Until then, this space stays empty on purpose.
What we publish instead of testimonials
Specific, checkable statements you can hold us to: The return window and its exact fees, in yuan, on the Refund & Returns page — including the cases where returning something is not worth it. Live shipping prices from our forwarding partners for your own country and weight, rather than a marketing table. QC photos on every order, before anything leaves China. A plain statement of what we do not do — no pre-orders, no chasing sellers with your questions, no unconditional refunds, no delivery-time promise. A support reply standard of 12 hours from a person, stated as a reply time and not disguised as a resolution time. That list is not as flattering as five stars. It is verifiable, which five stars are not.
