What does DogeGoo do?
We buy items from Taobao, Weidian and 1688 on your behalf, receive them at our warehouse in China, photograph them so you can inspect them, consolidate them into a single parcel, and ship that parcel to your country using an international line you choose.
Which sites can DogeGoo buy from?
Taobao, Weidian and 1688. Those three only. We are not a general "buy anything from anywhere" service — we do not buy from Amazon, Shopee, AliExpress or overseas retailers.
Why would I use an agent instead of buying on AliExpress?
They reach different inventory. AliExpress lists sellers who have chosen to export; the Chinese domestic marketplaces are far larger and are where most anime and fandom merchandise, small Chinese fashion brands and convention goods actually live, but those sellers usually ship inside China only. An agent also lets you combine purchases from several unrelated shops into one international parcel, and gives you photos of the real item before it crosses a border.
Which countries does DogeGoo ship to?
Rather than print a list that would go stale, the shipping calculator generates the destination list live from the lines our forwarding partners currently offer. Open it, pick your country, and you will see whether it is served and which lines are available with their prices.
Do I need to speak Chinese or have a Chinese address?
No. You give us a link or a keyword and we handle the purchase, the Chinese-language communication with the ordering system, and the domestic delivery to our own warehouse address. Your own address is only used for the international leg.
How do I start?
Create an account, then paste a product link or search for what you want. Nothing is charged until you place an order, and nothing is shipped internationally until you submit a parcel and pay for a shipping line. DogeGoo is a proxy shopping service — also called a buying agent or shopping agent — for three Chinese marketplaces: Taobao, Weidian and 1688. Most sellers on those sites only ship inside China and only accept Chinese payment methods, so we stand in the middle: you give us the link, we buy the item from that seller, it arrives at our warehouse in China, we photograph it so you can check it, we combine everything you have bought into one parcel, and you choose an international shipping line to send it to your country. We are not a shop and we do not own the goods we buy for you.
What a buying agent actually does, step by step
1. You find the item. Paste a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link, search by keyword, or search by image if all you have is a screenshot. 2. We buy it. We place the order with that seller as your agent and pay them in yuan. You pay the item price, the seller's China-domestic shipping to our warehouse, and our service fee. 3. It arrives at our China warehouse and is checked in. It appears on your Warehouse page. 4. QC photos. We photograph the actual item so you can check condition, colour and size, and spot obvious problems, before it leaves the country. 5. You consolidate and ship. Tick the items you want to send, submit the parcel, compare the shipping lines available to your country with their prices and transit ranges, pick one and pay. Only at that point is international shipping charged.
What DogeGoo is not
Not a marketplace or a shop. We hold no inventory of our own and we do not set the price of anything you buy — that price is the seller's. Not affiliated with Taobao, Weidian or 1688. We are an independent third party placing orders on those platforms for you. Not a pure freight forwarder. A forwarder receives parcels you already bought; we can do the buying as well, which is what makes domestic-only Chinese sellers reachable. Not a dropshipper. Every item is bought against a real order from you, comes through our warehouse, and is photographed before it goes out. We also do not handle pre-orders or pre-sale listings, including the kind where the seller takes a deposit now and asks for the balance later. What it costs
Three separate things, charged at different times, and it is worth keeping them apart in your head. The item, plus the seller's shipping to our warehouse, plus our service fee — paid when you order. International shipping — paid later, when you submit a parcel and choose a line. It is charged on chargeable weight, which is the greater of the parcel's actual weight and its volumetric weight, multiplied by the rate for your destination and chosen line. There is no flat rate and no per-item price, which is why we give you a live calculator instead of a table. Consolidating several purchases into one parcel is the single biggest lever you have on this number. Import duty and tax — set by your own country, normally paid by you on arrival. We do not collect them and we do not estimate them; check your local customs authority for your own thresholds.
Who uses it, and what for
Mostly overseas fans of anime, manga, games and Vtubers buying things that are only sold domestically in China: figures and garage kits, acrylic stands, plush, badges and pins, ita bags, cosplay costumes and wigs, Lolita and other Chinese-brand fashion, doujin goods and convention-limited merchandise. The common thread is not the category, it is the barrier: the seller will not ship to your country, or will not take your card, or the listing exists only in Chinese. A buying agent removes that barrier. If the thing you want is already available in your own country at a comparable price, you probably do not need one.
