FAQ

How long does DogeGoo take to deliver?

It depends on four things, and only one of them has a published range. The seller has to ship to our China warehouse first, which is set by that seller. Your items then wait in the warehouse for as long as you choose before you consolidate them. The international leg has a transit-time range specific to the line you pick and your destination, shown live in the shipping calculator when you submit a parcel. Then your own customs and local carrier finish the job. We do not publish an overall average, because averaging those four together produces a number that describes nobody.

Why will you not tell me an average delivery time?

Because it would not be true for your order. The variables that dominate — which seller, how long you personally wait before consolidating, which line you pick, and how your country's customs behaves — are precisely the ones an average erases. We would rather give you a live quote with a real range for your country before you pay than a comforting number you find out is wrong afterwards.

What is the fastest way to get an order?

Buy from a seller who dispatches quickly, submit the parcel as soon as the item is checked in rather than waiting to consolidate, and choose an express line rather than an economy one. The first is partly luck, but the second and third are entirely your call — and the second is the one people most often lose weeks to without realising it.

Do QC photos slow my order down?

They add a little time in the warehouse stage. In exchange you get to see the actual item before it crosses a border, at the point where a return is still cheap and straightforward. If an item is wrong or damaged, catching it here rather than after delivery is the difference between a simple return and an international dispute.

My tracking has not updated. Is the parcel lost?

Usually not. After dispatch the first carrier scan can lag, so an "Info received" status at that stage is normal, and economy lines often stay quiet until the parcel reaches your region. If it has been quiet for what feels like an unreasonable stretch, send us the parcel number through "Contact us" on the parcel at My Account → Parcels and we will tell you what the system reports.

Can I ship one item now and the rest later?

Yes. You decide what goes into each parcel — tick only the items you want to send now, submit that parcel, and leave the rest in the warehouse for a later shipment. You will pay international shipping twice, so it costs more in total, but it is the right trade when one item is urgent.

Does customs add much time?

It can, and it is outside our control. Clearance speed depends on your country, the shipping line, the declared value and the goods category. We do not predict duty amounts or clearance times, and we do not promise a delivery date that depends on them.

There is no single number, and a buying agent that gives you one is guessing. Your order runs through four separate clocks: the seller shipping to our warehouse in China, however long your items then wait there for you, the international line you choose, and your own country's customs and last-mile delivery. Only the third one has a published range, and it is different for every line and destination. The useful thing we can tell you is what sets the pace of each stage — because two of the four are yours to control, and they are usually the two that decide whether an order feels fast or slow.

Stage 1 — the seller ships to our China warehouse

This clock belongs to the seller, not to us. Some Chinese sellers dispatch the same day; others take considerably longer, and made-to-order items such as custom cosplay are produced only after the order is placed. You can see where each item stands on My Account → Orders. One honest limit: we do not chase sellers with your questions. That is a service we deliberately do not offer — the cost of doing it well across every order is not something we can carry, and pretending to do it badly would be worse. What we can tell you is what our order system currently reports about your item. If an item has not moved for an unreasonable time, that is a case for support rather than for waiting.

Stage 2 — your items wait in the warehouse (this clock is yours)

Once an item is checked in it appears on your Warehouse page and stops moving until you act. Nothing ships automatically, and nothing is charged for international shipping until you submit a parcel and pay for a line. This is where most of the "it took ages" experiences actually come from, and it is entirely within your control. Waiting to consolidate more items into one box makes each item cheaper to ship and the whole order slower to arrive. Shipping immediately does the opposite. Neither is wrong — but it is your decision, not a delay on our side. QC photography happens in this window and adds a little time. It is the step that lets you catch a wrong or damaged item while returning it is still cheap, so we consider it time well spent.

Stage 3 — the international leg

When you submit a parcel you see the lines available to your country, each with its own price and its own transit-time range. That range is the realistic expectation for that line, and it is where an actual estimate exists — express lines cost more and arrive sooner, economy lines cost less and take longer. We publish those ranges through the shipping calculator rather than repeating a number here, because they come live from our forwarding partners and they differ by destination. A figure typed into this page would be out of date the week after it was written. After dispatch, the first carrier scan does not always appear immediately. A tracking status of "Info received" at that stage is normal, and economy lines may not update again until the parcel reaches your region.

Stage 4 — customs and local delivery

Once the parcel reaches your country it is in your customs authority's hands and then your local carrier's. Neither is something DogeGoo can see into or speed up. Import duty and tax are set by your own country's rules and the parcel's declared value, and are normally paid by you. Where a shipping line handles that inline it is labelled "Tax included" in the quote — and that label comes from the line itself, not from an estimate of ours.

Why we will not just give you a number

Because the number would be false, and you would only find that out after paying. An average across every destination, every line and every seller describes nobody's order. The parts that vary most — which seller, how long you wait before consolidating, which line you pick, how your customs behaves — are exactly the parts an average erases. What we can give you instead: a live quote with a real transit range for your country and weight before you commit, visibility of each item's status in your account, and a support reply from a person within 12 hours if something has clearly stalled. That last figure is a reply time, not a promise that a stalled seller will be unstuck within 12 hours.
