- Is it still alive, and still lolita? Open the storefront and look at current listings. Among the shops we checked for this page, one had nothing genuinely buyable left and others had drifted thin — shops close and pivot, and old lists do not know.
- In-stock or pre-order? 现货 means in stock; much of the indie scene runs on pre-order windows measured in weeks or months. Neither is wrong, but mixing the two in one parcel plan without noticing is how orders end up waiting on one dress.

How do I search for lolita on Taobao? What terms work?
The terms that actually return lolita listings are the Chinese ones: Lolita or 洛丽塔 for the category, JSK for jumper skirts, OP for one-piece dresses, 裙撑 for petticoats, 内搭 or 衬衫 for inner blouses, 原创 to bias toward original indie labels, and 现货 to filter for in-stock rather than pre-order. You can paste any of these into our search along with an English word — the listings are machine-translated on our side, and the checks in this article do not require reading Chinese.
Can I buy from these shops directly from outside China?
Generally no — these are domestic Chinese storefronts: Chinese-language listings, domestic shipping, and checkout that expects a Chinese payment method.
